GET AWAY GATEWAY - MELAKA

After coming back from Langkawi (Sunday night),
I went to Melaka with my family (Monday morning omgomg).
My mum's bday was on 21st Sept, Monday.
And it was Raya holiday, sooo balik kampung celebrate sama2.

Also, my mum's sister, my second aunt, her bday was also somewhere in Sept.
so yeah.

Secret Recipe's Choc Cheese Cake.
Its empty coz my mum wants it empty -.-

tell me they look like twins.

You see, i like my hometown coz my grandparents have:
  • Fruit Orchards
  • Farm
  • Pond
Its never gonna be boring for someone who likes outdoor.
Every single one of my hometown trip has smth interesting.
The last time was i got to fish a tortoise up from the pond hahaha.

Now this time, theres something else.... /gg
[its at end of the post, but stay put and read till the end =)]

=) Lets get to another something interesting now.

There's this Edible Hibiscus Flower,
planted around the farm.
My mum and i went to pluck them.
[they grow like speedy-growing fungus near river banks]
Plenty2 of them.
Since my mum is.... erm orang lebih tua >.<, therefore i crossed that small river to pluck some much fertile hibiscus flowers while my mum stayed on land.

there u go, its eerie looking right?
wait till u see the colour.

look at my fingers!
its the colour.
To eat them, we have to pluck only its petals off and throw away the mid part.
So the petals are the pointy parts u see in the pic.

We used the flower for 2 purposes~
i. To make hibiscus juice
ii. To make hibiscus jam

1st, cook the petals with some water~

then add more petals sampai habis semua~

next, just cook till it becomes soft.
omg scary isnt it -.- like cooking some internal organs of cow or smth >.<
intestine-look-alike!! -.-

it then becomes a pool of blood, wooooo...

then we sieve out the juice to separate the flower and the juice

the flower residue, jadi jam

the solution, jadi juice [blood blood red really kinna geli]

nah... let u see juiceeee, after sieving a few times

tadaaaa, mix with some water then u can drink FFF Hibiscus Juice
[Fresh From Farm]

Okay, lets get to the farm~~

the pond i always fish from, where i got the tortoise wahhaha
nice water lilies huh

So u see, i dont just have the interest to play Barn Buddy just like that.
Its just the surrounding influences around me =D.
So, Jessie, BB is not a retard gameeee.

Corn plant

Cili Padi

Cili padi plant

Brinjal aka Eggplant

endless rows of brinjal plantsssss

dealers claimed my grandparents' brinjals are the best among all!
[spot some artist top left]

harvested peanuts~!

this is some kind of ultra fat ladies' finger

comparing to normal ladies' fingers

harvested cili padi~!

so fat and nice horrr

Everything harvesting pun i helped out mannnnn.
Thats why im as black as charcoal now.... sighs

Now, the interesting part..

The promising interesting part at the beginning just now.
We were in the house, like everyone.
We then heard dogs barking [grandparents have 5 dogs]
We didnt sense anything amiss.
Until the barking prolonged for like.. 10-15 mins?
My grandfather went to check on every dogs
[each dogs located at diff places outside the house].
and finally found out that one of the dog have encountered a black king cobra~!

But well, when discovered, the snake was already torn in half.
BUT still alive.
My Grandpa took the injured snake back into the house compound.
Showed to us, then killed it by stomping its head.
Cruel, but its what has to be done.

its kinna huge tho

wulala, what will happen if without the dogs huh.
Bravo, Mr. yellow dog.

certified, time of death, around noon, 22th Sept 2009

Its not the 1st time the dog has been spotting snakes around the house.
But its the 1st time the dog killed it.
There were 3 times before this, my grandfather fought them with a cane -.-.
A huge cane that is.
And all 3 of them were king cobras.
And do u know king cobras are like, VERY DEADLY?
all 3 snaked before this were above 15 feet long.
Imagine kampung snakes man, theyre Humongous~~!

haihz Grandpa!! ure so macho!! i wish i was born earlier =X.
Omg haha.

wehehehhe.

TATA.
